# Session

> Session risk gate — daily P&L limits, trade counts, cooldowns.

# Session (`/session`)

The session risk gate prevents overtrading and tilt.

## Session State

* **Daily P\&L** — running total for the day
* **Trade count** — how many trades taken today
* **Consecutive losses** — streak counter
* **Cooldown status** — whether you're in a cooldown period
* **Lock status** — manually locked sessions

## Risk Configuration

Adjustable limits:

* Max daily loss percentage
* Max position size percentage
* Max concentration percentage
* Volatility scaling factor

## Controls

* **Lock session** — manually prevent new trades (use when tilting)
* **Unlock session** — resume trading
* **Reset session** — clear all counters (start of day)
